We have created this trip for those who are a little more nervous on the rivers, but still want to push themselves.
It starts you on some easier and warmer rivers to help build up your skills and confidence before heading to the notorious Kali Gandaki where you will have to put the skills you’ve learnt to the test. You then head to the serenity of Sirubari for some R&R.

• Guided Kathmandu Exploration
• 2 Nights in Sirubari Home-Stay

Arrive into the bustling city of Kathmandu, head for the hotel and get ready to meet the rest of the team you’ll be on this adventure with! Before we take you into the wilds of Nepal we’ll introduce you to Nepal’s rich history, culture and religion with a city tour of Kathmandu. Explore the ‘three cities’ of Nepal, Patan Durban Square, Bhaktapur and of course stop at Syambhunath (Monkey Temple). Follow our local Nepali guide through these wonders and discover the hidden gems of Kathmandu to ignite your love and curiosity of the place!
Now introduced to Nepal it’s time to escape the city and head into the wilds of Nepal, first stop, the Trisuli River! Get ready to get wet as you take on the Trisuli, the river that created the commercial white water rafting business in Nepal. This is a great introductory river will give you a feel for expedition whitewater rafting that Nepal offers. Bask in the sunshine and warm water on this overnight adventure as you paddle down grade 2 and 3 rapids surrounded by wonderful scenery. The Trisuli will have you ready to take on more rivers, which is great as it’s now time to catch a lift to our next adventure, The Lower Seti River. Another overnight expedition, you’ll be paddling this river for two days down grade 2 and 3 rapids, but this time it is truly remote. The sound of traffic is left far behind us and now it’s time to let your other senses take over. Hone-in your skills and team work as you venture deeper into the jungle and wind your way through a breathtaking valley.
It’s hard to imagine a whitewater river so serene, but that’s just what the Seti River is. Now it’s time to test your new found confidence on the mighty, Kali Gandaki. There’s not a better river to finish your expedition on than this one. With heart stopping grade 4 and 5 rapids this 3 day expedition will be one of the wildest, most remote and greatest adventure of your life! Don’t worry, it isn’t all wild rapids, as we near the end of the expedition you’ll enjoy the beautiful jade green waters, monkeys and wildlife before we beach up and say goodbye to our final river.
By now, we are all pretty exhausted. So sit back and relax in comfortable private vehicles and take in the scenery as we head toward the beautiful mountain hamlet of Sirubari. Here, you’ll get to know the real Nepal. Not just by eating home made food and talking with the locals. No, here you will be welcomed in as part of the family and you’ll eat with them aswell as share their home with them. Enjoy time to relax or use any extra strength you have to join us on a day long hike to visit Hindu Yogies who live high on a mountain above Sirubari. At the top, enjoy beautiful views down into the valley. These views continue as we loop back down into Sirubari where you can refuel before joining in the festivities. We hope you have your singing voice and dancing shoes ready because both a required. You’ll be the guest of honor at the ‘Cultural Evening’ where everyone in the village turns out to sing, dance and play local instruments. Everybody joins in!
On leaving Sirubari we leave in style, adventurous style of course! Hiking up and over the saddle between two mountains and descend down to the valley below is our route. The views of both valleys, the walk through tiny hamlets, jungle and farm land is sensational and not to mention the secret tea shops we find along the way! Hiking out is way more fun than driving out, right? Don’t worry, we don’t walk all the way to Pokhara, once down on the valley floor jump back into those comfortable jeeps and rest.
The city of Pokhara is nestled around Fewa Lake. A stunning lake surrounded with rolling foothills and mountains which, on a good day, will keep rolling right into the Himalayas. From your hotel on a clear morning you’ll get to see these mighty mountains up close, so it pays to get up early! Spend your day here exploring, picking up last minute souvenirs or simply relaxing. The next day it’s the drive back to Kathmandu where we will enjoy one last meal together before saying goodbye.
